Principal's Message
I am honored to serve as the new principal of New World Educational Center and to welcome you and your child to our school community.
This year is especially exciting as we celebrate New World Educational Center’s 50th anniversary—a remarkable milestone that reflects five decades of commitment to student growth and community. As we honor our past, we’re also embracing the future with renewed energy and vision.
From a young age, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. After over 20 years in education, I realized I wanted to do more, by leading in a way that creates meaningful change and positively impacts more students.
My educational philosophy is grounded in strong relationships between students, families, and staff; a deep understanding of curriculum and standards; and the consistent use of effective instructional and management practices. I believe in creating a school culture that offers meaningful opportunities and fosters a true sense of belonging.
At N.W.E.C., student success is at the heart of every decision we make. With input from students, families, and staff, we strive to create a supportive and enriching learning environment where every child can thrive.
All lessons are aligned with Arizona State Standards. Our dedicated staff uses data to inform instruction and identify student needs, working diligently to challenge each learner academically while nurturing their individual growth.
We expect students to engage fully, and we ask families to be active participants in their child’s learning journey.
We welcome and encourage family involvement throughout the year. Whether it’s volunteering in the classroom, attending conferences, or joining us for special events, your presence and support make a lasting difference. Regular communication between home and school is key to student success, and we’re here to support you every step of the way.
As we celebrate 50 years of learning at New World Educational Center, let us continue to live out our motto: "Where We Believe and Excel." Together, we will build on this strong foundation to inspire lifelong learners within a comfortable, safe, and trusting environment.
