All About Me
As a proud Phoenician, I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. From a young age, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in education. I graduated from Cortez High School before earning my Bachelor’s in Education from Arizona State University in 2001.
In 2015, I joined the New World Educational Center family as a teacher and later introduced the school’s STEM program. After spending 20 years in the classroom, I recognized the need for deeper improvements in our education system—for both students and educators. This passion led me to earn a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2021.
In 2023, I was honored to receive New World’s Teacher of the Year Award and was given the opportunity to step into administration. This new role inspired me to pursue a second Master’s in Educational Leadership, which I earned in January 2025.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my son and family, and I hope to travel more—especially anywhere with a beach! I also love hiking, reading, and listening to music.
With my years of experience across various roles and schools, I’m confident that I bring the knowledge, leadership, and heart needed to serve as your principal. I look forward to working together to make New World Educational Center an inspiring, supportive, and empowering place for all students!
