Welcome!

Hello! My name is Cera (SEE-ruh) Crawford, though most of the students know me as Ms. C.

I have the privilege of serving as both a Paraprofessional and the K–8 Art Teacher at New World Educational Center Charter School. This is my 9th year with the New World family, and I am incredibly grateful to be part of such a wonderful school community.

One of my favorite parts of my job is helping students grow in confidence and reach their goals while collaborating with classroom teachers. In the art room, I love watching students take creative risks, express themselves, and discover that they are capable of making something amazing. My goal is to create a welcoming environment where every child feels safe to explore, create, and enjoy the artistic process.

When I'm not at school, I assist my dad with brain and tissue recovery for scientific research. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family (my mom, dad, sister, and brother), attending concerts, cuddling with my dog, Shandy, and cooking.

I am so excited to work with your child this year and can't wait to watch them learn, grow, and succeed!
