Hello,

My name is Cristy Mendoza and I am the School Nurse. I have been working for New World for 11 years now and have enjoyed being part of this wonderful New World Family.  My role here at New World is to make sure ALL students are well cared for by assessing their health complaints, medication administration, and for their special health care needs.

I was born in Los Angeles, California. Lived there for 10 years until we moved to El Paso, Texas. My parents still live in El Paso and I try to visit them as much as possible. I also have 2 sisters, Osuky and Vero (love them).

I have two beautiful daughters. Isabella my oldest graduated last school year, and Alexandra my baby is a 11th grader. I have the privilege of having my oldest daughter  Isabella work with me.  They have both been with New World since Kindergarten.  I enjoy spending time with my girls, especially if we are out traveling and exploring new places. I also have a furry family member Obi-Wan. He is a Maltese Poodle mix. 

On my spare time I enjoy spending time with my second family (my friends) whether we are enjoying live music, road trips, going out to dinner or just hanging out. I also love listening to music, watching KDramas (Korean Dramas) and sports!! My favorite teams are Dodgers (Baseball) Cowboys (Football), Suns (Basketball) and also soccer Mexico team (America) and Euro. League (Real Madrid).

 I have really enjoyed traveling to different countries. So far I have been to Mexico (Guadalajara), South Korea (Seoul) China (Shenzen), and Ireland (Dublin, Belfast).  I am fluent in English and Spanish I know very little French and I am learning Korean (Hangul). 안녕 (goodbye)
