All About Me
Hello,
My name is Janette and I was born and raised here in Phoenix, AZ, I am the middle school Science teacher here at NWEC. This is my third year as a teacher at New World and I am looking forward to seeing our wonderful returning students and meeting our new ones.
I graduated from Metro Tech High School in 2009 where I also received my Nursing Certification. I have my Associates degree in Banking and Financing since 2014 from Phoenix College. I received my Bachelor's in Education from University of Phoenix and I just received my Masters from GCU.
I am a mother of two wonderful children. I enjoy traveling with my husband and children and love outdoor activities, I believe education is very important and encourage everyone to pursue it. Knowledge is power and no one can take that away.

Students are expected to participate during class time. Notes will be taken often, if there is any homework assigned students must complete that day and turn it in the next day as soon as they come to class. There is no extra credit provided unless students participate in our yearly Science Fair.

If your child should fall ill or need to quarantine, all work for this class will be in their Google Classroom. It is your child's responsibility to complete and submit to receive credit.
