Dear Parents, 

        I am so excited about being your child’s first-grade teacher this year! Please let me tell you a little about myself. This is my 15th year of teaching. I am originally from Phoenix, Arizona. I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary education with a concentration in bilingual education at Arizona State University. I enjoy playing guitar, listening to music, playing with my daughter (Luna), as well as finding new ways to teach.

         My goal this year is to make sure that our students are confident and capable life-long learners. I attended a multi-sensory course this summer and I'm really excited to put some of those ideas to use this year.
