As a public institution, we have a responsibility to respect the values, belief systems and traditions of all students and staff. Therefore, holiday celebrations are not allowed.

However, if you would like to celebrate an accomplishment your class has had, please email the Principal with the date, time, and reason for the celebration. The Principal's approval is needed before any celebration. In addition, school policy, along with recommended nutritional regulations, prevents us from serving sweets.

Any celebrations done in the classrooms should be done so that all students are included.  If, for example, parents would like to do something special for their child on their birthday, we ask that the parents do it on an individual basis.
